I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene - Location # 619
Land owner permission requirements unknown.
There is very limited parking, only about 4 or 5 cars as there is just a lay-by on the narrow lane
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 18/01/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Hello Sky Jumper - sorry to trouble you out of the blue, I was wondering if it would be possible to use your wonderful image of Knowlton for a book that I am writing about…churches. If so would you email me on andyz@minervaconservation.com, let me know about what that would cost etc. Cheers! Andrew.
I’ve flown here too @AprilCoon

Whoops! I’ve not actually flown here @SkyJumper. Sorry about that
I’ve just added a new Take Off And Landing marker to this location @SkyJumper
Unfortunately the TOAL and parking markers appear to have moved and are incorrect. I placed them in the correct place on the map but they moved once I pressed confirm and save . It’s fairly obvious though where to park etc when you get there.
@SkyJumper I’ve just added some more media to this location on Drone Scene.

This is actually a National Trust site, however it does not seem to have staff at the site. I went late afternoon, there were a few other people walking dogs, no one came to challenge or whatever so as long as you are sensible you will be alright.

I want to fly here @SkyJumper, I’ve added it to the list of places I want to fly
You’ll probably be aware of the interesting history of this site, namely its a Norman church, built in the 12th century, but situated at the centre of a Neolithic ritual henge earthwork. The unusual pairing of the henge and the church symbolises the transition from pagan to Christian worship.
I’ve shot the location several times before, but never before with people there - on one of my visits a year or so ago, there was a group of 20 or so Druids gathering for a ceremony. I grabbed this shot as 2 of them were making their way to the ruins to begin.
I only had my infrared camera with me at the location but i think it added a little something to the character of the place

Wow! Yes I agree that is an amazing shot, it could almost be scene out of Lord of the Rings, Gandalf walking with another.
