Kyle of Tongue - Added to Coastal Scenery in Scotland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Fly from one of the layby's, if you are lucky then you may have the Seals at the end of the large sandbank, if not then you will have fantastic views of Ben Loyal and Ben Hope…

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 24/06/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Great video. I am learning that the jerky/fast movement is terrible to watch but wondered if you are just delicate on the sticks or detuned then in the settings?

Thanks… Erm both, I have set the Cine mode to max feather and to no more than 15 degree turn per second, that helps enormously…

On top of that the 2 best things are to pick a line and stick to it with minimal course corrections, and to fly as smoothly as you can, all of which makes the footage more smooth and epic…

Lastly, don’t beat yourself up when you dont get the move right, stop and redo it - as often as you need - and keep doing it and you will get it right, we are all learning every flight we make

Great, thanks for the advice. I live in a restricted zone so have to make all adjustment when out flying which is a nuisance. Just watched Ian from London’s YouTube video about the stick adjustments too.

Regards

Steve

Ian in London is very good… TBH once you set the adjuste=ments up the first tie you should be good for the future, they wont revert back unless you reset them, or so I have found
Bad luck abut the FRZ, but tbh I fly more when I am away from home, so it is what it is…
