Lake Windemere - Bowness to Ambleside

My last video from my trip to the Lake district, should have had this done a while ago now but life got in the way.

Started off in Bowness on a crisp sunny October morning, and took a boat cruise up to a much more overcast Ambleside, and then returned back to Bowness which was very wet bus still sunny. Must have done a good job of dodging the rain that day!

Beautiful, how I miss that part of the world! (live in Devon now but still have family up there in the Fylde)…

It’s a similar journey time from here, would rather fancy it being a bit more on my doorstep!

The scenery is so flat round here that a cow pat can easily be mistaken for a hill from a distance.
