Sunny days on the Isle of Skye are something of a rarity, especially in October, so having good weather means taking full advantage of it - so in one day we flew Portree, Quirang, Old Man of Storr, Lealt and Mealt Falls, some with the AIR3 and some - closer to people like this one with the MINI3 Pro!
Somewhat difficult lighting conditions with the shade over the falls, but with a little knowledge and the amazing camera of the MINI3 Pro we prevailed and captured something of interest… I hope the 2 German guys who were flying before us got something as good if not better

From one TOAL point!
Nice one. Look fwd to the others soon.
Lol, now that would have been a little beyond VLOS to say the least!
Posting them to the map as soon as they are done but keeping unlisted on YT, then releasing on YT and posting far and wide at the rate of one or two a week - plus any extra flights done locally too - trying to spread them out a bit rather than releasing them all in just a couple of weeks…

It’s what I do; Try and post every Thu so I’ve got a week to research the subject, write the narration (if Wiki isn’t suitable) and recotd it… in between flying the drone and playing golf with my mates! Life is good

I have just under 11 years until retirement, so its lots of flying on holidays and when the opportunity arises - weekends and time away with work - then process it outside of work - usually 6-8am is doable a few days a week and Friday nights when hubby is working late (curry night for me as he cant do hoit curries) and then editing footage
Post it twice a week, Once on Fri or Sat, and once on Tues or Weds, that way 13 or 14 video’s from a week away with take 6 to 8 weeks to post onto YT, and hopefully I will have some new footage to edit by the time its all posted

It’ll come sooner than you think although I was only 59 when I’d had enough nearly 6yrs ago now.

I would retire tomorrow, but would have a massive negative on the pension… If I stay where I am then pension is good and should add about 1/4 onto my retrement pot in next 10 years, plus the mortage will be paid off in 3 years, and then we can save some towards the next house - when we retire its a move to the Highlands of Scotland for us - drone flying, walking, and a bit of crafting - blacksmithing, woodworking and leatherwork - to augment the income and keep us busy… Cant wait tbh…

Sounds like heaven to me if you just sling in 36 holes of golf a week!

Need to learn the golfing, got a couple of sets of clubs - the idea was to make friends when we get to Scotland - but as yet not done much other than pitch and put and had a laugh
Sounds familiar, the only problem for me is I do far to many of both without the laughing … each hole - for a 14 handicapper!

Great filming Suzanne, I enjoyed that,

Thanks Stevie, appreciated hon:)
One of your best, I think. The opening shot set the scene really well.
