Lifeboat station on stilts, Trevose Headland, North Cornwall

Yesterday, I travelled to Trevose Headland, just west of Padstow on the North Cornish Coast. On the east of the headland is Mother Ivey’s Bay, home to the RNLI Padstow lifeboat, as seen in this video. On the western side is Trevose Head lighthouse, as well as Round Hole, a large collapsed sea cave, and these can be seen in a separate video, also posted today. I hope you enjoy the clips.

Can’t help thinking that it’s not exactly the most convenient location for lifeboat crew to get to in a hurry - unless it’s manned 24/7 ?

As well as the steps down from the car park at the top of the cliff right above the station, there’s also the lift as well

I was referring to the fact that the nearest village is several miles away

Spectacular!

Great flying skills, I’m so jealous, and jealous of your local scenery. I notice you can spot the good light

Excellent editing skills too - I expect it was quite tricky to great the great skies and keep the shadow detail in the rocks.

Subscribed to your channel and had a peek at a few of your other vids. You certainly seem to have progressed from quite good to absolutely top notch in a short period of time.
