Hey guys, me again
I have recently brought a new lipo battery (see below)
I’ve just charged it and once done, one of the cells read 4.18. is this okay to fly? (It won’t charge any more than this)
There is no visible damage ect.
Just for peace of mind!
Thanks, Chris.
Check the cell voltages with a multimeter as it could be a fault with the charger
Use a balance charger to sort that out.
I am , an ISTD K1 smart charger 2 port. It just beeps green and says “done” all cells read 4.20v and the other 4.18v…hmm.

What is the internal resistance of the cell?
I’d fly it and see what it’s like afterwards.
They’re all pretty equal atm nothing out of range by any major significance and will check them after a flight
Thanks all for your time in helping me out.
Chris
I wish my lipos charged that close
If it really worries you then run a discharge cycle then recharge.
In any case it isn’t far out enough to cause any real problems, I have some that are give that kind of numbers that are used in an RC heli which uses a high discharge rate anf they work fine.
All back to correct voltage now
Thanks guys!
Chris.
