List of Commercially Available Drones

I have been asked to do a study on Commercially Available Drones and their capabilities and limitations. It appears that the list is endless, so I call upon all you guys out there to help me.

Could you just comment below the make and model of the drone you use and I will do the rest.

I am only after out of the box drones (both quadcopters and fixed wings), not the ones you have mod’ed and fitted with a camera.

Many thanks for your help.

I own:

  • DJI Mavic Mini

  • DJI Mavic Air 2

  • JLRC Beast

Hope this helps

Now there is a prime example JLRC Beast. Never heard of it. :+1::grin:

That was my starting point, what I want to know is what people are really flying. The

We could potentially help by exporting a list of over 1,000 different drones that people have added to their profile.

Anonymised, of course.

But without knowing who/how/why this information will be used, you can understand our hesitation I’m sure

It was my first GPS drone, really basic and pretty poor quality to be honest but enabled me to get the basics of flying before upgrading to a “proper” drone

Wow @Nidge that is what I call a fleet… or more like an entire air wing. I had to convince CinC Nag Home to allow me to buy my second. :joy:

I’m expecting a call from Channel Five any day now to be featured in a one off special of “Hoarders From Hell”.

To be honest the drones and multirotors don’t take up too much real estate but the fixed wings do.

I have a Parrot Disco which is an autonomous FPV wing rather than quadcopter, it can stay aloft for well over an hour and a half with an easy battery modification, cruise at 70kmh and can be programmed to fly waypoint missions.
I’ve seen videos of others flying 20mile round trips.
There were also variants that were used for mapping and geo surveys for farming etc.

Other than that I have DJI Mavic Mini and Mavic Air 2 but you’ll find plenty of information on those.

Intrigued what your employer might be working on though, just out of general interest, especially as most of us are total drone geeks!?
