Land owner permission obtained.

Fantastic Gothic style Building. The Cathedral security, based at the gate house, don’t allow pilots to take off and land on church grounds, however they advised that I could use the embankment that overlooks the gardens to the rear.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 03/03/2025. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Hi…this is a great location to fly. I didn’t really have any issues…security let me take off and land within the gardens. Good luck.

I am going to have to postpone the cathedrals this weekend; the weather has all of a sudden gone ugly.

Unless I can get in after 1pm if it’s not too busy, but there is a concert at the waterfront as well on Saturday.
