Llancayo Windmill - Added to Historic Buildings in Wales

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission obtained.

A restored windmill originally built 1819. Now used as a holiday let. Access is on a private road permission for access is available from the property owners:

Morspan Holdings Ltd
Beech Hill Farm,
Usk
Monmouthshire
NP15 1HU
Tel: 01291 672539

I spoke to a lady called Helen Morgan one of the directors who allowed me to park on the farms access road.

In theory (without permission) TOAL is also possible from the nearby field if quiet (there is a decent amount of space so as to not upset any guests if distance kept).

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 13/01/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Thanks for adding to the map @Datmandan

Thanks! Edited by adding a website link

Now that, sir, is an awesome windmill. Plus extra points for being in Wales :joy:

Many thanks! My son lives in Cardiff, so the competition was a good excuse to make a minor diversion and the timing worked out perfect!
