I have a different video to show this week. It is on the front page of a local business website, a paid project I completed last week. I will be doing more for them this year including covering some projects from start to finish, so it will be interesting to see how the relationship with this company develops. You can Google their main site to see the video embedded, but for now I have linked it below. I did a few other shorter videos for them too for social media.
It’s been a funny week, I have been threatened to have my drone shot down with an air rifle by a disgruntled resident who saw one of my videos and objected to it online (on the grounds that it is illegal to fly a 249g drone near a building) and also messaged being told I must not fly over the Basingstoke Canal without written permission first. I therefore immediately took a flight over the canal the same day.
I guess objection, provocation and ignorance are all things we will come up against during our drone ownership journeys. I had been lucky until now. My main concern is someone sabotages my Google page simply to cause trouble.
