Loch Cluanie and Arrochar Alps - Added to Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Lochalsh, Scotland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Bonny mountainside, Burn cascading into Loch Cluanie, with interesting weather.

Lay by provides a decent parking spot, and you can get some great views of the Loch and the Mountains.

Be aware it is within EGR610, so permission to fly needs to be obtained from the RAF Low Fly Team before flying - ask a few days in advance, and they will give permission and add your flight(s) to their deconfliction system.

The originator declared that this location was inside a flight restriction zone at the time of being flown. Permission to fly was obtained from Charles and Sam - RAF Low Fly Unit. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.

Hi -

I really enjoy seeing your work and trying to see your latest on the site today was stopped in my tracks by Google.
Reason being each attempt of trying to being accepted as a member of Google they say my email address is owned by another. That is my email address - they want me to use GMAIL instead.

Regards B

Thanks… No idea why Google acted like that, I have no restrictions set on my footage or videos, sorry you encountered a problem..

Sounds like a conundrum I find myself in since moving my domain to Google Workspace - previously I had a few Google/YT/etc accounts - one for each email address on my domain. But since I changed the domain hosting to Google Workspace, all my email addresses are only aliases to the gmail address that the Google Workspace belongs .. so YT, etc, think ALL my email addresses are owned by that email address … that’s hierarchically correct (within Google) .. but not how I want my life organised.

Not saying that’s your precise issue, but there may be a similarity, somewhere, that allows you to to untangle the conundrum. (I’m yet to find a solution.)

Very nice, I’m a newcomer so good to hear how you got permission, thanks

Thanks Andrew, the RAF Low Fly Team are really good, and will try and help as much as they can… I have also dealt with Wick ATC for a flight within the airport FRZ at Castle Sinclair Girnigoe, and they were also great. Folks are generally happy to help if they are asked beforehand..
