The castle used to be on a small island in the loch but was moved in the 1930s to where it is now.

I believe so!
When we were there I had to wait an hour or so before launching as there was a float plane (G-DRAM, C185 I think) operating from the loch. Apparently Hamish the pilot is well known there, as he trains float plane pilots from both Canada & Alaska.
