London Calling! Flying Tower Bridge with the DJI Mini 3 Pro

No I think it’s something in nearby offices or HMS President

Nothing nefarious … As @OzoneVibe mentioned in another thread to do with flying at Tower Bridge…

@Phzuidema Thanks very much. Ah, what a shame. Never mind, gives you a reason to come back again!

@dronesceneken1 Thank you. Apologies for droning on your doorstep!

@RMB1 Thank you. It was scary, but I really enjoyed it. Made sure I gave the area around HMS President a wide berth.

No real issues apart from one instance where I lost the ability to control my camera settings - manual or auto couldn’t be selected and changing shutter speed/ ISO didn’t work. All flight controls worked fine though, so I flew back and landed (bit sketchy with an almost completely dark screen), turned the drone off and back on again, and all was fine afterwards. Could have been wifi/ bluetooth/ sinister interference, or it could have been the DJI app having a moment, either way, no harm done.

I was able to get some flying in up in Whitby. A gorgeous day for flying. Shot with a Mini 3 Pro.

These are the best I have seen. Great job. It’s a bit of a trip up there for me, but I’m definitely gonna have a go when able. Although by then I imagine max distance from operator will be 5m, no flight on any day with a Y in it, and a fee of 14 oxen a year.

I’m flying further east along the Thames this Friday…I’ve pre applied and downloaded the unlocking for the LCY Authorisation Zone. Saves all the phaffing around whilst at the location.
