Nice view of the “Gravel Pit “ car park at Florence Nightingale Hospital ( London Rd Community Hospital). I retired from there ( Ward 2 palliative care) last August. Fond memories of that ward. :+1::+1::+1:

Thanks, is that the car park where that single house was in it for years?

LOL yes if you have 100 coffees

Thanks. I actually used just normal 4K/30fps video then imported it into Sony Vegas and used the Velocity envelope to increase the speed a lot.

Certainly is. Was where I parked my car when I first started there many years ago ( before I got a space in another car park nearer to the ward ) There used to be a pub on the frontage to London Rd years ago. In fact the old covers to the cellar are still visible on the pavement some yards along towards the city centre from the junction of BarlowSt/ Osborne St with London Rd :wink:

ah yes. Ah yes that pub was The Bridge, demolished in May 1979.
Have you seen my fading Then and now photo I made on youtube from that corner …

I’m led to believe that there was also a pub on Osborne St as well ( the little street that joined Bateman St with London Rd,) which is known as Derby’s shortest street.
From your video, I can remember those orange barriers, used to create a cycle Lane. The council blocked off Osborne St, so when going to and from work, I had to drive right along Osmaston Rd and down to London Rd to get there .:roll_eyes:

The Bridge is the pub that was on that corner I believe.
Yes those barriers were a pain, I did a driving video of those…

Emergency Active Travel Plan indeed. I asked a local councillor how much this was costing the taxpayers. She told me “ It’s not costing us anything, the government are paying for it.” :open_mouth::open_mouth: I simply said “Well we’re all paying for it then.” :joy::joy::joy::joy:
