Lost signal, and video file on DJI Mini 4 Pro

Today I had a big fright with my mini 4 pro, after a low signal warning, to which I started to turn back, I completely lost signal.
Cue panic mode…what did I have set for signal loss, I could not remember if it was hover, land or return.
After a very nerving 20 seconds or so, staring at a grey image of the last view, I got a return home message and a working screen on the RC2.
Drone was on the way back, huge sigh of relief and heartbeat starting to come back down.

However when I got home and was reviewing footage, the video of the said flight was not on the SD card, I am sure it was recording at the time, that was the whole idea of the flight.

So did the signal loss stop the recording and prevented it writing to the card, or did I have (another) senior moment and not press record in the first place?

Lesson learned though, remember applied settings for such events.

possibly put the card back in the drone and power it on, it should then complete the recording and you might be able to view it

I had two more flights after this and they have both recorded video and photos, bit strange.

Here is the airdata.

I would say your problem was the trees, in CE mode the penetration is poor
