Lowgill Viaduct, South Lakeland

Snapped this disused railway viaduct today with a very short 5 minute flight. It was really too windy for the quad so couldn’t get much higher than this, hence this is the best of a bad bunch!

No matter the conditions … this still adds the Industrial Revolution Badge to your profile! :+1:

Is that straight from the drone @CSB73 ?

Many Thanks OzoneVibe. Wasn’t really sure about flying but thought I’d risk it.

No I,m afraid I had to tweek it a little via Snapseed. The camera on my drone is only 2mp so it just can’t do justice to what I try to capture.

Don’t apologise mate!

I was only curious

And, if you took it today - enter it into the Bridges photo competition

No worries, mate. Just can’t compete with the calibre of some of the photos posted on here. I need all the help I can get! Lol. (Until I can upgrade to something better anyway)

I did think about it, mate. I am thinking of another location close to Carlisle here but not sure if I can get out again to fly before the competition finishes. Can you submit multiple entries?

You can substitute one with another but you lose all the points gained by the first one.

Ok thanks. I need to see if I can get out at the weekend again :+1:

I thought, i recognised this viaduct. Pass by it often travelling the M6, between junction 37-38

Hi mate, that’s right. It first caught my eye traveling the M6. Took a risk putting the quad up to get a few pic’s. It was pretty windy at the time. Pleased I did though.
