Luss is a village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, on the west bank of Loch Lomond in the heart of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It is one of Scotland’s 40 National Scenic Areas.
Luss is a conservation village with very limited parking, however a large new car park has been recently opened on the main road just outside the village. Parking charges do apply 24hrs a day/365 days a year. In summer Luss and Loch Lomond as a whole can be extremely busy with tourists.
There are plenty of TOAL spots around the lochside and public footpaths, BUT be aware of the sea plane’s that fly up and down the loch from their base at Cameron House just south of Luss.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 11/08/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.
