LUT (Look Up Tables) what are they and how to use them

I should be receiving my new Mini 4 Pro Fly more combo on Monday, (tomorrow 27th Nov) In the bundle offered by DroneSafe there is a free pack called LUT, I looked it up on google and it stands for look up tables.

  1. How do I use them?
  2. Can I use them as I only edit in iMovie?
  3. Better not to bother?

I’m pretty sure iMovie won’t let you use third party LUTS

Maybe time to upgrade to FCPX

Thanks and in that case I won’t bother as I only know how to use iMovie and tried Final Cut and found it too difficult so thanks I’ll stick to what I know.
