I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

A very large park with a very historic grade I listed 16th century manor house and gardens. Also includes a folly just up the hill.

As this is National Trust land I'd recommend TOALing from one of the nearby field areas in order to avoid confrontation. I TOALed from a remote grassy corner next to a gate just off the west side road leading to the car park.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 11/06/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

@Jenal763, looking at heading here end of month but website says no flying yet drone scene says its within a YELLOW ZONE

It’s ok to fly over, just don’t TOAL on the Nat trust land, just had a look there’s a good few fields around it as mentioned above :+1:

I did see this but as it was a couple of years ago just wondered if anyone had problems since this post was made

I filmed there in Jul 25, no problem. TOAL from the hill leading up to The Cage and after the carpark attendants had left, I TOAL again from the carpark. Just be discreat, and be prepared to be moved on, if challenged. There is a public path that runs through the park if I recall so they’d find it hard to enforce, I guess.
