took the inspire out over the weekend and while trying to do a sweeping shot of the bowl that I was in I may of overestimated my altitude and well see for your self.
(the roll is screwed anyway and cant find out how to fix it. also ignore my face pls and thanks
that should carry more of a warning didn’t expect the hit just as soon can the Inspire not fly without a camera? Might have been an option. Get used to the flying then stick the £££camera on hopefully flights from now on go a bit better
Have a look on YouTube. Videos on there re: stripping down gimbal and camera. Might be a motor alignment, motor replacement, power ribbon thing. Not too difficult. Stripped one down the other day. Haven’t got the ribbon yet, so put it back together without just to keep the parts safe. Word of warning, according to one YouTuber you need to mark the central nuts before you loosen them. He says they are magnetised and they govern the turn of the motors. Not mentioned by others, so don’t know. No big deal to mark just in case.
Noted in case it happens again. I’ve done one exactly like that I was tryi before but I had a second op for the camera so I could concentrate on the drone and flying. Thought I’d learnt enough to try my self (I was wrong as evidence above) on the high side back to the sim to try and learn again as don’t feel like tempting Murphy in to breaking the gimbal on round 2
