This film follows our journey from Manchester Airport to Stresa, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, during the summer of 2025.
Beginning with plane window views from departure and cruising altitude, the journey continues across Europe and over mountainous landscapes before descending into Northern Italy and landing at Milan Bergamo Airport.
After arriving in Italy, the focus shifts to Stresa — featuring a mix of drone and ground-level footage along the lakeside promenade, with ferry boats arriving and departing, and the mountain ranges rising behind the town. The film captures everyday movement on the lake as ferries connect Stresa with nearby towns and islands.
We stayed at the historic Regina Palace Hotel, a grand Belle Époque hotel overlooking the lake, which features both interior details and exterior drone shots set against the backdrop of Lake Maggiore.
The video is presented as a non-narrated journey, allowing the visuals, motion, and atmosphere to tell the story — from runway to lakeside.
