Mansfield is literally 5 miles from me
I’ll take a stab at the old Rufford Colliery area.
Even if I’m wrong, that’s still a pretty good place to go.
Yea its the same place. Back in my off roading days (20 years and 2 knees ago) it was known as mansfield desert. Its even called the desert on dronescene but no where else. Its a fantastic fly spot with woods, streams and clipstone heads a couple of KM away. I stood on the tallest hill to get good range. I mean line of site 
Its a trek from parking spots but worth it. Someone even left me a chair up there

Where is the access, etc?
Ive put the best parking spots ive found on the map
But im sure there are other places
