Straight from the Maven website:
"The application is in a beta stage and we are working to reach the Play Store as soon as possible.
At launch the application will have very limited functions and will then be completed with subsequent updates
The android app will be called “Maven Lite” until it is fully functional of its iOS counterpart
The first feature available at launch will be the “virtual co-pilot” and will have all the capabilities of the iOS version including, follow me, orbit me, and cable cam
The variety of android devices is so high that we can’t be sure it works on every device, and we can’t test them all, so to avoid selling you an application that might not work we decided that you can download and try the application for free.
It will be impossible to record videos from the drone while using the virtual co-pilot. Video recording will be unlocked via an in app purchase."
Maven Lite is now available for Android on the google play store, it’s free currently but if you want to record video with virtual copilot there is an in app purchase of £4.40.
Not tried it myself yet.

Henrik at Tech Drone Media has done a video on it. Looks pretty good.
Has anyone been able to buy the video recording? I went to the page, says ÂŁ4.42. Click to go through to pay, says US$5.34.
I want to pay using Google credit, more than enough in the pot. Payment defaults to card, click to change to credit and go back to payment, now says €4.99 and under the credit balance, says unavailable and won’t let me pay.
Im getting same issue. Anyone solved this?
I mailed them about it and they’re investigating.
Today’s update doesn’t appear to have fixed the issue.
I tried this morning (have not tried before) and it went through ok. Still not had a chance to use it yet.
If you pay with the default option, they say it does, I want to use some of my Google credit. Price first appears $, changes to € when I change payment to google credit but against the credit it says unavailable. I think you can only use £ credit for a £ purchase.
Tried to fly my Mini 2 at the weekend with Maven Lite. Took off OK but rather than a live video feed, I was getting effectively a snapshot about every 5 seconds with the drone only a few feet away from me. No problems with Fly or Litchi apps in same place.
Is this normal behaviour or an issue?
The payment issue has been fixed, offers it at £4.99 as soon as you go to buy, no $ or € in sight.
Still no video feed for me, either blank or a frozen image. Will report it to them.

Still no video feed (Pixel 7 so no performance issues) and no response from support.
Not impressed.
