Has anyone tried the Maven app for IOS?
Unfortunately it is only available for IOS.
I bought it a while ago but it didn’t do what I wanted it to.
Just been looking it again due to the SDK release from DJI and it is an amazing app.
It’s a bit like Litchi but it has some very nice features.
I have also registered as Beta so I have now got the M2 and A2s connectivity.
Also as a side note it is now on a special price of only £9.99 (it was £17.99 I think)

He’s mentioned it a few times, unsure if he’s using it currently though.
I’ve not used the Maven APP as I mainly use Android these days. I do use his other Apps, those being Spark Pro, TelloFPV, and Tello Me which provides object tracking to the Tello.
To date the Apps I have have worked flawlessly. He does test the APP’s and updates to destruction before releasing them for public consumption.
Yeah it’s quite an app. I was pleasantly surprised when I downloaded the update.
I have the app on MacOS, but it currently only works with the M2P&Z . I am waiting for the app to work with the AIR2S, but the developer has stated that the SDK has yet to be released by DJI and the current date for that is end of March 2022 (so not long now). After this is released he will update the app to work with the Air2S as well as the Mini 2.
I’m a beta tester for Maven.
Trying it out with the M2 and A2s tomorrow.
The version you have works with M1 and Air 2 also.
Yeah - it’s very very good, does all you want, and it’s at a great price at the moment too!

I have not heard of this app before, looks pretty good, I have never used any apps for my Mini 2 before and wondered how this compares with Litchi, from what I have seen this has some cool features over Litchi.
No Android app and no expected date for it. I also wonder if it’ll work with the new firmware update (like Lichi won’t)?
Does look very impressive though. How much is it?
Edit:. Am I getting mixed up between Lichi and Drone Hacks??

At the moment it is only available for IOS, don’t know if there are any plans for an android release.
I think the latest firmware update from DJI is an attempt to block DH. (I stand to be corrected).
Merged the “Maven App Update” thread into this one since, currently, there’s not really enough activity to justify a separate thread, and it will reduce the number of duplicate posts that just make them drift into being the same.

The Maven app is only for IOS at the moment.

As in Drone Hacks … there’s also an app called Drone Harmony, that isn’t affected … just to clarify should any DH Drone Harmony users worry.
I have Maven Pilot, it connected straight away with no issue. The maps did not load straight away, I loaded google street view and it started working.
I can confirm that the discount has ended now. Just missed it!
