I’m a bit miffed, new Air 2 and the vision sensors needed calibration straight out of the box. Never had this issue before with DJI. Of course to calibrate the sensors you have to find a computer and monitor combination that actually works, failed on a Mac mini with 4K display, failed with a Windows laptop but finally worked on an ancient MacBook Pro.
Just had it out for a few quick flights and all seems OK but I can think of better things to do of a morning than calibrate vision sensors.
Ok I’ll stop the rant now…
Thats a bit of bad luck by the sounds of things. The main thing is you’ve got it sorted now. How did you find the MA2 in comparison to your other models? I love mine lol
Lots of other threads on this subject also suggest you need to use a specific version of DJI Assistant.
So far I’m impressed Not really had much time with it of course but I really like the new controller design and it flies like a dream.
A quick look over the net and there seem to be quite a few moans about the sensitivity of the actual monitor used. I have the right version of the assistant but like others had to fight to get a monitor that works, I’m just a bit grumpy about having to do it on a brand new drone.
Its my first drone so have nothing to compare to but like you I love the controller design and have really enjoyed getting out and taking photos with it. Its much more stable than I thought it would be. Touch wood I’ve not had any issues with it at all
