Mavic Air dead batteries

I’ll be happy to let MikeT have a “fiddle” and equally happy to recycle them if they are of no use.
Gotta be worth a try!

This :point_up_2:

I recently received some out of whack 3DR Solo batteries. Using the Solox APP for the Solo I was able to slowly and safely discharge the batteries down to 3Volt per cell.

I then left the batteries to stand for a few hours to ensure the cells remained at a fixed voltage before recharging.

Once the batteries had reached full charge I left them connected to the charger for a further 48hrs. While connected like this they are trickle balanced.

The end result is that the batteries were now calibrated and balanced which resulted in increased flight times (from 5mins max up to 17mins before first warning), and all cells discharging at equal rates when under load from the drone.

Thanks :+1: I’m still able to use it flying but I make sure it’s close by and mainly use battery for doing modification changes and other maintenance.

Will try your advice @MikeT thanks
