Parking available in the Mountbatten Centre Car Park which is free for stays under four hours in duration. Also, we are allowed to use their cafe facilities and toilets. My understanding is they don’t allow dogs on their premises however! The TOAL is a very short walk from the car park.

Sunday afternoon weather is looking very promising. Here’s a few photos I took on a previous visit. The TOAL site is the large bench which enables all different types of flying. You can fly over the sea (if the tides in) with various points of interest. However, if you prefer to stay over land then that is also entirely possible too!
The shot of the Mountbatten Centre shows the car park and the route along the foreshore to the TOAL…bottom right in the photo. And if you fancy nipping into the centre to use the cafe, toilets etc. I’ve included a shot of a table menu to give you an idea of what’s available.
There is a second, smaller car park accessible directly from Northern Parade which is free for any stay duration. However, it is further away from the TOAL and requires a small amount of walking over grass. If I can find my photos of it I will post them up too!
