Streetview shows a possible height restriction to the car park ..
You wouldn’t happen to know if that open gate is sometimes, or now always, shut .. would you @macspite ?
Currently have the roof box on the car, and that limit looks too low.
The gate has been open whenever I have been there. It’s the entrance leading to the angling club. That’s just one area where you can park.
The restriction of 2.0m / 6’6" is at the very entrance to the site as you come off Harts Farm Way and that is permanent. There have been problems with travellers in the past.
Just to be perverse the latest Google Earth snap shows the barrier open, going back in time it is always closed.

Bugger! Won’t get under 2m. 
I’ll have to take the damn thing off the car .. only to put it back on for the following week. #GoingCampingAgain .. weather permitting .. last week before kids on hols, campsite gets full of tents AND kids.

Actually - I’m using my slightly smaller (believe it or not) roof box, atm. The XL rather than the XXL. 
I’ll go measure.

The worse thing about my car is the low profile tyres. They are NOT wide .. so the side wall is minimal. Big mistake.
A Lamborghini might have a profile that’s a half of mine, but the tyres are 4 times wider.
Measured accurately, with a level - 194.5cm ..
Loads of headroom when you get you and woof in

Unfortunately, you overlook three bags of cement and 6 bags of sand currently in the car.

Have’nt even got a drone yet but may have by the 10th
