Not sure if this is a right or wrong thing to suggest but how about sharing phone numbers with people at meets that you trust. This is probably already done but no-one trusts me PMSL.
Probably beacuse i turn up with broken drones and laugh when people forget SD cards 
TBH everyone i have met so far have been sound as and i was still laughing when i got to the van.
I’m happy to share my mobile number with the regulars that attend meet-ups, I’d class you as a regular, so I’ll PM you my number

Great meetup at Bulwell Hall Golf Club on Sunday. The skills you guy’s have doing your FPV flying is amazing. That 10" fpv flown by @R4MP4GE_fpv was so quiet and graceful but still had plenty of power when ripping it up.
As usual a great time was had by all and I learnt a few more things.
Special mention to @DodgerFPV for letting me have my first hands experience of fpv.
