I’m organising a meetup at Cliff Quarry :smiley:

Where:

When: Sunday, 29th June 2025

Start time: 08:45

Approximate end time: 12:45

Suitable for drone types: Camera Drones & FPV Drones

Additional notes:
Please do not park near the gates to the old quarry, that entrance is to be keep clear for emergency services, if the Tram Museum (next door) requires it.

Please park in the Tram Museum car park, it’s only 100-150 meters from the gates.

I’ll be working at the museum on the day in the workshop, but hoping to pop over and see you guys. I’ll bring my drone and have a few minutes if I get chance.

Gentlefolks, The museum has a Music and a Triumph car event on that day. so be warned it may be busy. At times vehicle have been parked on what’s called the quarry approach road on one side. As you come to the car park, just before you enter the car park there is a road off to your righ along the bottom of the cliff. As Binman has said please don’t block the gates at the quarry entrance. Hope to find a bit of time to meet you folks. Regards, Andy
