Additional notes:
Car park down the road, with a half km walk up via the trail. There may be people walking along the path. There are no current flight restrictions, only a ground hazard… If you were to fly all the way down, following Maystones Ln you would get to some pylons. The Peak District National Park Authority prohibits taking off or landing on access land(There is a "public" footpath right next to it that you can take of from and land there, and still maintain VLOS). great for camera drones and would like to see some FPV.

It is a long time since I last went here. Is it accessible with a mobility scooter. Terrain isn’t usually an issue but walls, fences and narrow gates tend to cause problems.
The leftmost fork is probably the most forgiving, but requires getting through a (tractor-sized) gate, which may me locked - it was upgraded a shortish while back from the mostly rotted wooden one, and I don’t recall whether they secured it or not.
This pano gives a reasonable idea of the terrain once you’re in the field.
I wouldn’t say it’s impossible, but it won’t be a walk in the park, either.
Edit: If the weather holds, I may well be heading up there one evening, so I can refresh my memory.
Went up this evening. After what has been a mostly sunny day, it started raining just as I got there so I didn’t get any flying done. However, access is better that I may have implied so, depending on how big your wheels are, you may be fine.
And as we’re all excited about 360° video at the minute, you can follow the back of my head all the way from the parking spot to the meet-up spot (or choose to look the other way - but you may need to watch on YouTube for the 360 to work).
Huge thanks @Earwig for doing all of this - it is a massive help to have seen just exactly what is there.
I know that it wasn’t me that asked the question about access, but I had thought exactly that.
Such a shame that the weather turned as you arrived.
Having recently got a 360 Osmo, this is just one of its many uses.
