Meux Abbey - Added to Iconic Landscapes and Ancient Sites in Yorkshire and the Humber

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Meux Abbey was a Cistercian abbey founded in 1151 by William le Gros, 1st Earl of Albemarle (Count of Aumale), Earl of York and 4th Lord of Holderness.

Nothing above ground remains now, except for outlines of where the various buildings stood.

A small bit of off road parking can be found to the south, and can be used as a TOAL during quiet times. During the day, the road can be quite busy.
