Eh, isn’t that just sawdust?
Since I never used it, and it was still in the box, I just checked what DJI included with the MP to charge the RC … and it’s a Micro-USB. Weird, eh?
Yup, I was just looking for mine, but have yet to find it. I seem to recall a conversation a while ago where someone was saying it was just a micro-usb, but just to not force it.
People putting one in up-side-down used to be the main cause of damage.
That’ll be why there are so many 'tube videos on how to replace the USB socket. When I first saw that it so terrified me I (from then on) took the greatest of care plugging mine in.
To summarise, I would advise …
- Micro-USB … prone to damage, but works if careful
- Reverse Micro-USB … works very well, does not damage, lots available
- Micro-AB … the correct one, but very difficult to source
I don’t disagree with any of this, it’s all about being able to source one.
If you had a USB-C tablet, it’d be easier!
This is what you need, but it’s unavailable.
