I don’t really do video having been a photographer for more years than I can remember, but occasionally I give video a try.

This one is very basic and it does seem to take a lot of time to produce one, especially as Davinci Resolve has a steep learning curve.

Lessons learned from giving it a go

  • I need lots more practice
  • I need to pre plan what I want to do rather than just stitch things together
  • I need longer clips and multiple views of locations to make the end product more interesting and give more scope for editing.

I will give it another go after the holidays are over

Hi David - you could always apply and improve your newfound skills in the current Grey Arrows Drone Club 8th Birthday Challenge and Treasure Hunt which has another five weeks to run.

You could probably find some of the subjects on the way to or from those south-east group meets! :slight_smile:
