Considering that’s the Mini 3 Pro, that is impressive. It’s not easy with those narrow 90 degree turns.

You did very well, Michael

The Avata is made for stuff like this. Maybe a consideration for the future :+1:

Well done on getting your first paid gig :+1: Great flying with the Mini 3 Pro.

Just my tuppence worth but my first thoughts are, if the cinema is going to be using this as a promo video then it’s maybe just too long, but there is enough good footage in there to make a great shorter promo. From inside the cinema, at the bottom of the stairs to the end, it appears to be one continuous video clip. Ideally you want your video clips to be a maximum 5 - 10 secs with standard dissolves or straight cuts between them.
I’m not a huge fan of speed ramping but could have been done on the stairs as it takes a while to get up them. One thing you really shouldn’t see in a video is the exposure changing, I take it you were on auto. As Chris @clinkadink said the Avata is made for this sort of stuff, where one long continuous take does look good.

That was awesome. I love it when I get the cinema all to myself. :grinning:

Erm the WB was tli think only thing on auto i believe as i know it said pro and took a few thinks off auto, and yea i was thinking the stairs bit speed ramp it up shave another 10/15 seconds as its cutrently 3 mins long, eventually i want to get the avata l, just cant afford it as of yet :frowning: but navigating them tight corners and battling drift due to no GPS, THAT was an experience ha!

That’s an excellent video. I wish I could get something similar just flying around the garden! Well done :+1:

That’s pretty good Michael. One comment I would make is that it’s quite long and not dynamic enough. Maybe some cuts during the long slow bits? If you watch a film or advert or even a TV program, you’ll notice that the shot changes within about 6 seconds. Oh yeah, take your white balance off auto! AWB is an anagram of BAD (well almost).

Yea the stairs part i could do with speed ramping tbh, as it was a kinda 1 shot tour but didnt wanna put too many in if that makes sense, im still learning the process as pike i said it was my 1st time doing anything like this

It was meant to be constructive criticism, so don’t think for a minute that I was being a twat. I think you did better than I would have done. I’m learning too. There’s a lot to find out. Not just the flying but the post process and all that malarky. It’s tough to start out.
