Spent a “me day” today and got out with the drone.
On checking just now, I have all photos and videos except for any pano I shot. I definitely shot (and heard the click for each image) 2 x 360 pano’s and 1 x 180 pano. I’ve checked every sub-folder by today’s date, and even ones that aren’t. All I can see are older images. The pano’s were shot in between the other still shots, and they are all present.
Checked the SD card and the drone, but they’re AWOL. Anyone any ideas why? A bug? I’m not a noob to computers or drones, but this one has me confused.
They should be in a separate folder on your sd caed labelled pp”panorama”, you’ve not set it to hidden at anytime have you?

Or so card full so saved to internal storage?
The pano’s are auto stitched and saved in the media folder, look for the date and larger file size
If you have the setting to save them as Jpeg AND Raw then there will also be another folder in the DCIM labeled PANORAMA that will containt all the unstitched DNG files

As mentioned, I have already checked all folders.
I should have said that this is not my first time shooting panos and my older ones are still there, just not the new ones from yesterday.
Also, yes, I checked teh drone even though the SD card is far from full.
Thansk for teh =suggests.
Yes, the panos should be auto-stictched but they also supply teh full 26 (??) shots as standalaones for manual stitching. Definitely missing even though I heard the shots, and saw the “processing” at teh end.
Going to have to accept they are AWOL I guess.
I’ve literally walked the entire SD Card and the drone storage area - nothing.
Is it set to JPEG and RAW
Yes. Never had an issue with this before. Which is why I was wondering if it might be a bug.
A firmware update can reset the settings
You will need the drone in the air to check this
The stitched JPEG will be in the folder with the other JPEGs
Never heard of any bug!
Me either - but can’t think of any other reason why the drone would “simulate” the process. Been taking digital photos since year dot. Specifically been taking them with this drone for 2yrs now and nevefr ‘lost’ an image until now.
I guess I’m taking this one on the chin and will need to wait until I get back out.
As I said, individual imges and video taken either side are there.

Doesn’t help with the missing ones, but this suggests the SD-Card hasn’t been re-formatted for a while.
Before testing, I’d do that first?
Sounds a good first step approach Dave. Prior to that I’m going to see if I can do a recovery of any sort - even though I’ve deleted nothiung, it’s a.n.other step to try.

Just a thought have you left old panos on the card (ie from no 1), and its got to 999 and started re numbering from start?
Fly the drone indoors, take a pano and check it again - if the new pano is still missing, it’s almost certainly NOT a bug…and regardless of your significant experience, there’s a file or setting problem in your drone or file transfer workflow - never had this happen in 200km of shooting and photos and per the above threads, seemingly neither has anyone else.
I thought I’d lost some images after a recent trip up North with my Mini 4 Pro. Almost by accident, I discovered then in the drone’s internal storage, after scratching my head for quite a while.
I still don’t know how it happened as shots before and after were on the uSD card. It took me a while to think of looking there as I always have the drone set to save to the card.
I’d thought of this one and checked every folder - but no, I haven’t reached 999 panos.
Yeah - first place (after wandering the SD) was to check internal storage. There is literally zip there.
I’ll give that a whizz but, like you, this is a first and not something I’ve seen in 6+yrs of drone ownership across various models.
My ‘experience’ aside, why would still images - actually 5 AEB exposures capture just fine along with video but panos specifically not? I hear what you say, and I’m not excluding my own idiocy here, but the files simply do not exist on the SD Card or internal storage; BUT the drone definitely went through the process of taking the images and processing the same. Let me ask another question …what setting would allow the drone to do all that but not save the images? I haven’t seen one so genuinely interested.
