Mini 4 pro unbinding

Thought I would share my recent experience.

Bought a used Mini 4 pro from MPB in August last year but only discovered 2 weeks ago that it was still bound to the previous owner. Hadn’t affected my use of the drone but came across it as I was playing around with settings.

Contacted MPB and within a day they reached out to the previous owner but with no success.

They than directed me to DJI live chat who asked for

  1. Copy of invoice
  2. Screen shot from remote control
  3. Certificate (wording supplied by them) from MPB confirming they had no objection to the unbinding

Armed with this I went on a subsequent live chat with DJI earlier this morning and the drone was unbound in real time and is now bound to my DJI account.

Thought I’d post this as when researching the issue there’s a lot of conflicting advice out there.
