evening all I’ve just set a waypoint from the maps (first time trying waypoints’)i didn’t fly it first. Just from maps all looking good then i just couldn’t press the start for fear of not doing it right . should i just trust the mini 4 tia from a scared owner

Just make sure you know where the pause button is - start the mission and keep a close eye on the drone - if anything starts to go wrong hit the pause button - you’ll then have some time to think and cancel the mission if necessary

For way point missions, make sure you can see the start point and every other way point - might be an idea to have the camera say start recording/stop recording m/zoom etc along the way as you’ll be able to follow its path easier. They’re dead easy to cancel mid-mission too! Go for it - then try waypoint for a dolly zoom subject…that’s very cool

Set the missions to max height in an area you know well and hit the start button. I also tick the complete the mission on loss of signal, but it’s no big deal if you dont.
Start off small, with a couple of points set if you’re too worried. They are easy once you get into them, and you can always do a mission on the fly (sorry pun intended) for you to repeat at a later date.
You can use Litchi to plan the mission but it’d not straight forward
