Hi,
Whilst digging around i found a pack of things that came with a mini 5 pro. Including some genuine dji class 1 stickers.
As a holder of a a2 c of c do we think i can fly within the c1 category using plus batteries?
C1 stickers were included with both my Mini 4 and 5 pro’s. You had to go through a (now discontinued) procedure with DJI involving serial numbers and photographs before the drone was swapped to a class 1 and the correct firmware settings applied.
So, no, swapping the stickers doe not make your Mini 5 pro a c1.
Those also appear to be C1 rating rather than UK1. I recently bought the Mini 5 Pro and I had to buy the Fly More Combo Plus which comes with the Plus batteries. Doing it that way you get a UK1 drone. If you buy it without the Plus batteries it is a UK0 drone. That then means you can’t use the Plus batteries as it pushes it over the 250g. Mine with the plus batteries is 301g.
Even though UK0/C0 and UK1/C1 have the exactly the same regs attached to them (except RID must be on on the 1’s)
