Found a little gully by a quarry nearby so had to fly it.
Flown with the FPV Controller 2 and the Avata - not in manual mode as I was not that brave due to the gusting wind that was pushing the Avata around a little bit but still a heck of a lot of fun.
Need to up my manual game for sure.

Lovely low flying, like that, feels faster at a lower level. Something I need to do more of, nice video and flying, bravo

Thanks mate - yeah I don’t think I hit more than 18mph on this flight. The wind was not in my favor at all. You can sort of see how the Avata is being bashed around in the goggle view ( used GiroFlow on the drone footage )
There were a few factors here that stopped me from even thinking about manual mode
1 - wind ( it was choppy )
2 - would have had to climb over a gate to recover a crash - haha laze arse me
3 - was having too much fun just doing this
I do have access to a really good thick grassed field that I really need to spend time in to fly more in manual mode for sure.
Nice flying mate. I’ve recently took the avata in to manual and have enjoyed it so far.
I’ve only really flown high in manual and for speed if im honest but looking forward to giving it a good blast at the big meet this weekend.
Get yourself down as theres a few avata’s knocking about now
I’d love to see 8 in air at same time in auto mode, and try and 9th, see what happens

It would be epic to see like a squadron of them flying in formation.

It’s the only way to fly. Once you’ve crashed and repaired it’s not something you worry much about going forward.

I am not worried about crashing - have had some good bumps already and the Avata is a little tank really.
very true - only had a couple of bumps and one crash so far. Trip to holland sorted it
