It really hacks me off seeing complete twats doing this, (and many other things with drones). Knowing full well what the inevitable outcome will be!.
If it was designed to specifically do something. other than fly, it would.
If it was designed to fly in the rain ,it would.
I wonder how many of them get them replaced by “The Company” ,or sponsors of their Youtube Site.
I’d hardly describe myself as an eco-warrior, but whether it’s replaced by a sponsor or not it’s the sheer, wanton waste of stunts like this that pisses me off.

I hope you find it and I know that pain of searching…
Even though I had the last location down to a minuscule amount, probably less than yours, I still couldn’t find a bright white P3SE in a green tree. When I returned 3 moths later (after days and hours searching in dry weather) with no greenery around (autumn / winter) I still couldn’t find it. I suspect one of two things, neither of which I’ve let bother me …
- Someone else found it and took it - well best of luck after the rain.
- It fell into the waste water pond at the old lifeworks where I’d been flying it.
