This is a frankly beautiful place. Is on MK Parks Trust land and they have a very drone friendly policy.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Japanese companies like Yamaha and Panasonic set up operations in Milton Keynes and there were hundreds of workers and international schools for the children. However, many left in the 2000s as production costs rose and Japan’s economy started to slide. Despite that the majority of the MK Japanese population left, the Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist order remained, establishing the first Peace Pagoda in the Western Hemisphere in 1980. Their residential buildings are nearby and the monks are still active in MK.
