Sgwd Henrhyd - Henrhyd water fall - tallest waterfall in south Wales and used as the back drop for the entrance into the Bat Cave in some of the Batman movies .

We have similar (but bigger stones in Morecambe) placed to dicourage coastal erosion and promote the sand to stay around.

Yeah looking at the satellite view in Google Maps does make it look man made. Strange thing is that it’s a really small area though.

These are just 2 on the front at Morecambe

Thanks to @Kenbo I found out about The Rhynd near St Andrews. They host a monthly car and bike meet, and today was the first one of the year. Great weather for it and a huge variety of cars turned up.



Followed by a sneaky trip to a reservoir.

Dog walk, this morning.

Living in a “railway town” (Eastleigh), and in fact in one of the hundreds of houses built for the railway workers more than 100 years ago, there’s a huge local railway heritage.

The local park has a very active miniature steam railway with several steam locos.
Busy every weekend all year and every school holiday.

Often cross over the line several times on the average dog walk, and sat in the sunshine at one of the “stations” with the pup this morning.
