I had company, sat on the top of a hill in the cold, wee hours, waiting for the comet to emerge from behind cloud.

@OzoneVibe.
A very handsome assistant to have with you at night! My daughter is desperate for one to visit our garden, we had one overnight a couple of years ago, and apparently they are around at the other end of our road.

I have a family of them in my back garden every night (some young have just been seen in the last week) … and there was a young one by my front door as I ventured out at 1:15 this morning.

That’s brilliant! Much hedgehog envy…

I was out flying at dusk last night, and this is what my phone saw. I have to say that it did a rather better job than my MP camera even with raw files.

#bring on the Samsung UAV camera

I’ll post some MP images later, the stitches panos weren’t too bad.

Great colour reflections in the foreground.

Thanks, it was a lovely evening, with great clouds, the light reflecting off the harbour edge with the tide out and lots of texture.
My friend was nearby, just off the deck with his MA2, he’ll have taken some lovely images, as he’s a really good photographer.
Just as we were coming in after out 2nd batteries were low, a Mavic came in high above us an whizzed about for a bit, then disappeared off.

As it was getting dark, I couldn’t think what was wrong with my MP… It’s my 3rd flight with a new (to me - thanks @S_O ) MP, and the red front lights were turned off! A quick foray into the menu, and I was back in view.
The only annoyance was that a cold wind came up after the sun went down, and I was cold all of a sudden.

Here’s another after sunset:

A couple of photos from the last few days. The tunnel photo has had nothing edited except saturation and contrast.
