Moel Famau in the November sun

Fabulous weather motivated a trip to Moel Famau, North Wales. Loving the video from the Air2s.
Moel Famau is the highest hill in the Clwydian Range and the highest point of the county of Flintshire in Wales. It lies on the boundary between Denbighshire and Flintshire. The Jubilee Tower, at the summit, is an Egyptian-style monument erected to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of George III in 1810.

I was up there a couple of months ago, unfortunately too windy for the drone.

Love that view

I couldn’t believe had good the weather was last Tuesday, last time I was there in March you couldn’t even see the top. My video from that day, luckily I live near.

It’s an amazing location, with the backdrop of the vale of Clwyd/
