Parked on a quiet road just off the council road but you can park beside the football fields as there is space along the road where I dropped the pin
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 25/10/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Going back in may as I live in Preston hopefully climb donard and fly off the top which will be amazing
It’s well worth the effort, but don’t worry if you don’t make it to Donard, the whole area has plenty of places to fly. This is one I took at the saddle between Donard and Commedagh. You arrive at the saddle whether you come up from the Donard car park in Newcastle or the Bloody Bridge car park on the Kilkeel Road, so even if you don’t go to the summit you can still get some great shots.
