Thought some folks might be interested. Changes in policy (at work) mean we now need to charge our LiPo’s in fire safe cabinets, so introducing the IonLine 90 - 600 kg and £10k of 90 min lithium fire resistant cabinet.
Has inbuild fire detection and AVD extinguisher. Their advice is still to try get it outside if something sets on fire, not sure how we’re going to do that from the second floor though…
Definately beats a LiPo bag or ammo tin, but not as portable
Have you got a link so that we can all take a look at this “Policy Change” @Bobbysmile
Sorry to be clear, this is at work and is our internal COP, have edited the post to clarify this. Thought it would be evident from the post, not many people going to be buying these for home use!

was the policy change brought on by insurance demands ? just curious
we have on site at work thousands of Lithium chemistry batteries
I can’t say for certain as it’s come from above. I think it was spurred on by a few near misses, there’s already been a ban on e-bike charging indoors for a while now, and I think it was a extension of that.
i have seen batteries on site melt when they was shipped back to be looked into parts had been substituted by staff at the factory
