Got a share of one of the locations you were looking at.

Apart from the airports there is not many restrictions in Scotland.

How can i? I dont live in UK

I think Callum means tell us which areas of Scotland you intend to fly your drone at. You could mark these on a Google map, screenshot it and put it on here :wink:

Ah cheers mate^^ My main goal would be to fligh at the ilse of sky (Old man storr, fairy pools) and around ben nevis. As we are doing a round trip i dont know where we will go atm.

Hi Nils @Eta - welcome to GADC :+1: :+1: :+1:

Worth checking on Dronescene or drone assist as many areas of the highlands are used by the RAF for low level flying practice.:wink:

But this is only a restricted area when there training is on am i right?

Hi Nils, welcome.

Check this for details of low flying areas and times. It is updated regularly.

Thanks for your help! I start tomorrow!

Correct.

Where are you visiting @Eta ? Anywhere in particular you want to check out? Are you travelling all over or going to have a base to travel from?

Im going all ove he place starting in Edinburgh. Im most curious about Skye.

Can you recommend places?

Scotland is your oyster as far as subject matter is concerned. @jaybee I think knows Edinburgh and its surrounds quite well, he has loads of good stuff of the area. The whole of Skye is a pretty stunning place to be honest:
The Quiraing
Elgol
Loch Cill Chriosd
Loch Fada
Talisker Bay
Uig Bay
Neist Point
Sligachan
Boust Hill
Old Man of Storr

And if you’re heading for that way you really shouldn’t skip past Eilean Donan Castle and the Kyle of Lochalsh
