You are fortunate because you have so much beautiful scenery on your doorstep, I live in Cumbria and usually go to places like Keswick early in the morning when no one is about. So many places to put your drone up. Happy flying when you get your drone.
Thanks for the advice Alfiebyre, Reading your post I have done the same process as you, watched loads of vids on YouTube, studied all the regs taken my test with CAA and passed and got my IDs etc. I have not yet decided but edging towards the DJI 3 or 4 pro. Am so much looking forward to getting into this hobby but like you say it’s all about the cost. Thanks so much for your advice it’s much appreciated.

There is also dumfries you can get to by bus, also the x95 nice daytrip to hawick and galashiels, but check times on buses home. Also silloth is nice when weather is good
