Hi all, my name is Barry, I have a DJI mini 2 which is registered and I thought I may as well do the flyer ID too. I’ve dabbled in model aircraft, drones and heli’s in the past but as a photographer I thought I’d jump into the 4K video market.
I’ll just be using the mini 2 for hobby use and I travel to Spain frequently so hope to get some good footage out there (if I can find out if I need to register the drone out there under the EASA regulations, the info is very scarce to say the least!)

As for the Spain thing, check out this thread, although a lots has changed with EASA and the last year has stopped the majority travelling abroad
Thank you. Unlike the UK, the information on registration in Spain under the new EASA regs is either non existent or out of date, I have emailed EASA ES in spanish and English but no reply as yet, I’ll report back if I get an answer but I’ll not be holding my breath!
Yes, I’ve seen that, I think they are pre 1 Dec 21 advisory rules, it doesn’t mention the new EASA regulations on drone registration and how to do it like we have to in the U.K. (even for a drone <250g), I believe the UK adopted the EASA regs even though we left the EU. I’ll keep at it, I just want to remain legal when I’m in Spain.
